The Young Adult Sunday School class will be offering its community service to the DC Diaper Bank. The DC Diaper Bank provides babies and toddlers in the Washington metro area with the diapers they need to grow up healthy and safe. The need for diapers in our community is great for those who are in need. Diapers can become very expensive for families that are struggling financially and babies that remain in one diaper a day are at risk for infections.
We will serve the diaper bank by having a diaper drive. Starting Sunday September 17, 2011 the Sunday School class will be collecting diapers and/or donations for diapers during the Sunday School hour. The diapers will be dropped off at the diaper bank during the month of October. Please find it in your heart to purchase diapers for babies in need.
